DGSA uses USSSA Fastpitch Softball Rules
Diamond Girls Softball Association, "DGSA", uses USSSA Fastpitch Softball Rules with a few variations for league games. Coaches, players, and parents should familiarize themselves with both USSSA Fastpitch softball rules and our Addendum.
All players, parents, coaches, and umpires should familiarize themselves with our rules.
If a player has a question about a rule, they are encouraged to ask their team's designated coach when the timing is appropriate. During games, catcher's are encouraged to work with the umpire to learn more about the play and how to adjust.
Questions towards umpires should be from the player or head coach, after time is called. If a parent has a question about a rule, they are encouraged to work with their player and their designated coach when the timing is appropriate. Parents and spectators are not in a position to question an umpire's call and are encouraged to set positive examples of sportsmanship and conduct for all players.
